Even though Metro Ice and Marlins both had their opportunities, it was Marlins that eventually prevailed 4-3 on Friday. The game was tied at three with Marlins batting in the bottom of the sixth when Pelo singled off of Jake Foster, driving in the game deciding run.

Metro Ice lost despite out-hitting Marlins 11 to six.

Tom Popadak earned the win for Marlins. He threw seven innings, allowing three runs, 11 hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Jake Foster took the loss for Warren Metro Ice. He tossed six innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out eight.

Marlins collected six hits. Pelo and Popadak each collected multiple hits for Marlins.

Herron, Goist, Petrillo, and Capogreco each collected two hits to lead the Ice.
