Marlins take game 3 over Whoppers 16-7, will meet Metro Ice in LCS.

The Colebrook Elevator Marlins defeated the NEO Whoppers 16-7 to advance to the Warren AA Baseball League League Championship Series for the second year in a row, where they will once again meet defending champion Metro Ice. Tom Popadak earned the win in relief, finishing the final 5 innings.

The Marlins offense was lead by Alex Fitzgerald, who went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI and 3 stolen bases. Bobby Dulay, Joe Hardy, and Popadak each had multiple hits.

The Whoppers had multi-hit games from Gage Elza, Joe Mott, and Nick Mitchell.
