A defensive miscue allows Metro Ice to take the lead late and defeated the  NEO Whoppers 4-3. Metro Ice trailed 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning when there was an defensive miscue, allowing three to score for the Ice.

NEO Whoppers captured the lead in the second inning when Joe Sneizik drove in two.

JT Taylor earned the win for Warren Metro Ice. He went six innings, surrendering three runs, five hits, striking out five, and walking one. Jake Foster recorded the last three outs to earn the save. Tyler Gaskill took the loss for NEO Whoppers. He threw one and one-third innings, allowing zero runs, four hits, and walking zero.  Garrett Kellogg started the game for NEO Whoppers. He threw four and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs, and one hit.
