The 4th of July came early as Metro Ice “exploded” for 21 runs while dishing out 20 hits in defeating the YellowJackets 21-6 on Sunday.
Warren Metro Ice earned the victory despite allowing the YellowJackets to score four runs in the third inning. The YellowJacket’s big inning was driven by a single by King, a single by Vitucci, a walk by Bardol, and a single by Yemma.

Warren Metro Ice scored on a single by Ryan Trimbur, two errors, a single by Derek Morrison, a single by Jake Evanoff, a single by Mark Herron, a single by Nick Capogreco, a single by Trimbur, a fielder’s choice by Larry Goist, a single by Morrison, and a double by Jake Foster.
