The Warren AA Baseball League managers met Tuesday night to vote on the 2016 regular season award winners.
Nick Capogreco was rewarded for hitting .511 and leading the league in hits by winning both the “Batting Champion” and the “Most Valuable Player” award. Capogreco helped lead Metro Ice to their 2nd Warren AA Championship.

The “Pitcher of the Year” award was split, therefore, two players are walking away with the title. The Marlin’s Kris Karr and Metro Ice’s Jake Foster split the award while helping to lead their teams to the League Championship Series.

“Rookie” Bobby Delay was awarded Warren AA Baseball’s “Rookie of the Year” in a runaway, excelling both offensively and on defense.
