The Marlins force a game 7 with a 6-1 victory over Metro Ice. Kris Karr once again dominated the Ice, allowing only 1 run in the complete game effort. Karr, a series MVP candidate, struck out 3 while walking no one.
The Marlins were lead offensively by Stefan Lesnansky (3 for 4, 3 RBI), Bobby Dulay (2 for 5), Nick Morton (2 for 5), Tim Calhoun (2 for 5, RBI), Joe Hardy (2 for 3), and Alex Fitzgerald (2 for 4).
AJ Armstrong, pitched a complete game in a losing effort. He was peppered for 15 hits, and allowing 6 runs, 4 earned. Armstrong struck out 3 while walking 4.
The Ice offense was lead by Ryan Trimbur (2 for 4), Nick Zajaczkowski (2 for 4), and Nick Charnas (2 for 3).
Game 7 will take place Monday night, 7:30 PM at Packard Park.
